I didn't expect the rainbow of colors. Or the beauty in the faces and hearts of Ecuadorians. I didn't expect to be blessed so richly by a country with people who struggle some days to just survive.
I was in Ecuador the week of July 19 to 26 with a group of missionaries coordinated by the Cary Church of God. The plan was to distributed hundreds of glasses, medical supplies, and a build a church. Yes, you did read that right. The group planned to build a church in one week - a task completely impossible in my hometown of Cary, North Carolina.
