As the Parenting Tweens reporter for The National Examiner, Liza writes features on youth ages 10 to 13 with a special focus on advocacy, faith, and health issues. Her work in this area began in 2009 and last year, an estimated 7,500 readers viewed her articles.
During Liza's time as the NBC-17 education reporter, she covered a 5 county area focusing on news parents can use and compiled weekly reports on What's Clicking in the Schools. During her time as Wake PTA Council President, Liza was the Parent Tip feature reporter/writer for The School Connection (Wake County Public School System's monthly television program) broadcast on local public access stations.
